Geotrax

Today we decided to play with the geotrax. I tried to build the biggest track I could. I used all but 5-6 pieces, so I felt good about it, and the kids had fun, which is what I was going for. 

Matching

Tonight I put AK and LK in matching pajamas. Aunt SH made them for us, and we love them!

Sleep

AK came into my room early this morning (around 4 am), scared from a dream. I went with him to his room and sat by him until he fell asleep. Somewhere around 6 he came into my room again, and I just let him climb in my bed. I woke up to see AK sleeping like this:

He's been sleeping like this since he was a baby. He just looks so relaxed. I love it!

Camping day 3

Today was our last day at Navajo lake. We ate breakfast, and then slowly cleaned up. We sat and visited some more, played washers, and ran around. We were sad to say goodbye to our AZ family. Driving home to a lot longer than planned, as the trailer tire blew up and we didn't have all the necessary tools to fix it. AK and LK were very patient through it all.

Camping day 2

Today we got to spend time visiting with family, hiking, playing with cousins, playing washers, and enjoying the beautiful area. It was a WONDERFUL day!

Camping day 1

Today we drove to Navajo Lake. We rode with Grandpa and Grandma S. We met my cousin RS and his family there. Later in the evening my sister SH and her kids arrived, followed by BS and his family, cousin GS and his kids, Uncle SS and Aunt VS, and finally DS and his family arrived. In total we had 35 people there between the two families. Most of them arrived so late that we didn't get to see them until the next morning.

Headed Out

Tonight we headed for Delta to spend the night. We couldn't leave until after PM's soccer game, so it was late when we finally got on the road. AK and LK were happy to watch movies as we drove.

Bubbles

We went outside today and blew bubbles. I found an electric bubble blower for cheap, and AK, LK, and BJS had fun playing with it.

While AK used the bubble blower, LK decided to clean her toes.

Outside

The sun hid behind some clouds for awhile today, so I took all four kids outside to play. 

Work Party

Today was the summer party for PM's work. It was at a park. They had a giant blow-up slide for the kids, dinner, and ice cream for dessert.  AK loved playing on the slide. He went up and down, and up and down, and up and down.... He played on it almost the whole time we were there. LK didn't like it too much. She enjoyed the playground and also found a water fountain that she could squirt people with. 

Busy

Today was a busier Sunday than normal. We went to a baby blessing in the morning (in a city that is an hour from our house), and a luncheon after that. When we got home we had enough time to sit for a bit before heading to BS's house for dinner with my family. Even though it was busier than normal, it was still a really good day.

I found a can of silly string in a box my mom found with my stuff in it. After spraying everybody, I let AK finish off the can.

Triathamom

Today I competed in my first triathlon. This is something I have wanted to do for a while now, and I am happy to say I can check it off my list. I do plan to do more triathlons. I enjoy the training for them.

I arrived home to the best surprise... My sister and her kids had decorated my garage with a poster. I sure love them!

BYU hat

LK found her BYU hat yesterday when I was working on cleaning out our garage. She wore it for a good portion of today.

LK

LK is the sweetest little momma's girl. She loves the color pink and dolls of any sort. She enjoys jumping on the trampoline, dressing up as a superhero, and playing with her brother. She is also a grandpa's girl, and loves when she gets to spend time with him. I'm so glad she is mine!

Trampoline

I needed to mow the lawn today. After I finished, I got on the trampoline with AK and LK. We played "dead man" and a simple form of dodge ball. It was so fun to spend time playing with my kids, not worrying about anything else.
